Lampulo Fish Auction - part one

On Wednesday, 20th of March 2013. 

my photography class wanted to do a hunting session again, and this time we choose the fish auction at lampulo which is the biggest fish auction in the city and this area were hit by tsunami on December 2004. the condition of this place before were so bad because so many dead people were dragged to this place and also the citizens around this area passed away because of the disaster and they lost their house and of course they lost they jobs. 

 

like the post that I had post before were telling you the boat that dragged on the house of the citizens live. at this area you will see there are a lot of boats and the fish seller  this auction not only for people who want to buy fish but the fish seller that usually sell the fish by they motorbike around our house or we called it "mugee" also took the fish from this place.

 

here is some pictures that I got from the first time I hunted in this fish auction. actually because my battery is running out so I need to go back to this place to shoot more photos for the hunting task.*hehe*. I called this post as the first part of the Lampulo Auction .

this pictures show you the place where you will park your car or motorbike. this man were heading to the fish market. the situation at that time is around 5 o'clock at afternoon.

02.actually at the fish market you will see a lot of fish basket. this pictures show you where the basket is located. behind the gate you will see a lot fish basket. humm, you will see more when you get in to the inside :D

 

 

at the afternoon you will see this kind of activities at the fish auction. and you will see different if you come here in different time like at the morning or night.

from all of the view of the fish auction the interesting one is the fishes box ! 

 

this boxes are contain a  lot of fish that they keep for few days while they sailing to find more fishes to sell.

this boxes are in many colors that will be interesting to see :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and, the other thing that is interesting is The Boat ! because the boat is the main actor here. they brought the fisherman to the sea and they keep the fishes safe from the sea to the land just for all of the people in  town. not only for the concumen but also for the fisherman. interesting right? here is the boat that stand still on the port and taking a rest before he bring the fisherman to looking for the fishes.
